OK GO Chroming!
If you’ve been following the Rocketman Media blog I’m sure you’d be aware that OK GO are admired, adored and loved around the office. Sure, their music all sounds largely the same, chirpy inoffensive Nanna pop, but their innovative video concepts are hugely entertaining! I think we’ve covered them on a inappropriately high basis, breaching several court injunctions, but here we are again…
They have combined with Google Chrome to produce an interactive viewing experience for their latest single ‘All Is Not Lost’. This HTML experience opens up several windows in the Chrome browser in which the OK GO dancers perform their routine. It is strangely additive viewing.
The gimmick to keep you watching is that before the video clip starts, you are requiring to enter a phrase, any old phrase, that eventually will be performed back to you from the OK GO Dancers….
It’s a nice little way to burn 5 minutes of your life. surely their imagination jar has been licked clear of its content…
Check out message OK GO left us... Remember to use Chrome for this…
