It’s Friday, so it’s time to trawl through the net and present some of the most wonderful contributions to procrastination…
My Pop is old, like most pops are, but he is also old school. He prefers to write letters than Bookface and thinks the English language is being slowly eroded until we all simply grunt at different pitches, a regression back to caveman but with iPhones. I have long been a firm believer that texting and the internet has evolved the English language. In my best Stephen Fry-esque defense of the way language is used, I claimed that the meaning is still being conveyed, simply in a different form.
Today’s Friday Funny was based on a comment rant written by a 13 year old kid reviewing an online game. The comment is plauged with grammatical misses and some unusual applications of language. The comment was then narrated by an epic voice over actor and combined with a flash animation. The result being that perhaps my Pop has a point….
